1. About NuDoc
NuDoc ("we", "us", "our") is a document collection platform operated by NuDoc Ltd. By creating an account or using our service at nudoc.io, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, you must not use the service.
2. The Service
NuDoc lets you send document requests to clients, collect uploaded files, and manage submissions through a centralised dashboard. We may update, extend, or discontinue features at any time. We will give reasonable notice before removing features that materially affect your workflow.
3. Accounts
You must provide accurate information when registering. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. One account per business is permitted unless you are on a plan that includes multiple team seats.
4. Acceptable Use
You must not use NuDoc to:
- Upload or distribute malware, illegal content, or content that infringes third-party rights
- Collect documents from individuals without their informed consent
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other accounts or our infrastructure
- Resell or sublicense the service without our written permission
- Send unsolicited communications (spam) through our document request emails
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules without refund.
5. Subscriptions and Billing
Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance. All prices are shown in GBP and exclude VAT where applicable. Your subscription renews automatically unless you cancel before the renewal date. You can cancel at any time from your account settings — access continues until the end of the current billing period.
We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods, except where required by UK consumer law. If you believe you have been charged in error, contact us at help@nudoc.io within 14 days.
6. Free Trial
New accounts receive a 14-day free trial. No credit card is required to start. At the end of the trial your account will revert to a read-only state until you subscribe to a paid plan. We do not delete your data at the end of the trial period.
7. Your Data
You own the data you upload to NuDoc. We process it only to provide the service to you. We do not sell your data or your clients' data to third parties. See our Privacy Policy for full details on how we store and handle data.
8. Uptime and Availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance where possible. We are not liable for losses caused by downtime outside our reasonable control.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, NuDoc is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify you by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use of the service after that date constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
